Why do we’ve so many GODs? Is it Open Source Licenses?

Ah....Sentiments might be hurt but the facts will prevail.

And now I will tell you the fact that no one else would dare to have even thought about.

Do you know why Hindus have so many GODS, where as Islam or Christianity etc have just one GOD???

Coming to the point, parallels - GODS and corporations -

So let me give you gyan.

GYAN: There were these religions prevalent ever since ancient times, Islam, Christianity and the numbers of followers all over the world of these were far more than what Hinduism was (the fact that we just started the population explosion recently).

FACT: Islam, Christianity etc are like big licensed corporations like Microsoft etc. These have huge brand names and end user just follows these, mind you huge brand names. Its a sort of monopoly in the market, There cant be a competitor for Jesus because no one can compete with Big corporations. And in those days there were no 'Anti Trust Laws' for GODS too.
Some religions even tried the Pyramid Scheme marketing models. Which are not extremely popular but yeah they exist too, Doing fine enough I guess.

GYAN: Now wondering why Hindus have so many GODS?? Was the business model so different that it allowed even the smallest start up into main stream markets?

FACT: The business model was simple. Open source is not something that has come in now, Hinduism was the first concept of Open Source. There are so many gods because, few good programmers made few quality gods and the source code was all over. All that the people had to do is pick the code and customize and optimize a little. And release another version of the same GOD.
Now this explains why so many gods are so similar too. For instance, say Ganesha and Hanuman, are very different, but the main code, the framework, the algorithm is same, just some UI changes (Copying few attributes from different species that’s all)

GYAN: Now about the future of this market. Which business model will thrive? It’s Hinduism. (Open source)

FACT: Ancient times, if you notice, Islam was all over central and east Asia, parts of India. Christianity was all over the world almost, but Hinduism was confined only to parts of India. That’s almost a fraction of geographically area. But the results are here to see. The business model is so strong and has allowed so much growth that, in the same geographically area (India), we are competing with the other religions in numbers.

So, proven fact, Open source is the tomorrow of the market.
