Bobby Fischer's already gives away the theme of the movie, if not the plot, it’s about 'Chess'.

True Story - Chess Player Joshua Waitzkin is a 7 year old, the chess player in the Josh is discovered. The passion is nourished and obviously results will be there. The journey thorough this is the movie.

This is very impressive movie. A very intricate film about the thought processes of a Genius 7 year old. Skillfully shows the variation of thoughts with the different states of the mind.

The habit of winning, sensing the vulnerability of loosing by intimidation, succumbing to this, and resurging from lowest possible confidence levels to win again. And all this shown by a 7 year old boy is commendable.

Everyone faces the loss, everyone looses faith, but not everyone looses hope. Resurrection Indeed. A subtle emotional turmoil, not just the kid but the people around him, all are the part of the tide, the ebb and the fall - The parents, friends and the Mentor.

When you see the coaching of the kid, the methods of the teacher look very unconventional. Its a movie so i know the methods work, but in real, wow! It’s a challenge.

The crucial moments when the importance of a teacher is shown, the battle between the heart and the mind, the heart says aggression and the mind says patience. Brilliant, the heart wins early but later the mind takes control and CHECK!!

Ah it’s interesting, believe me, definitely movie is worth the money (If you spend that is )
